Denver International Airport (DEN) is located about 25 miles northeast of downtown Denver. The airport serves as a major hub for several well known American operators, including United Airlines, Southwest Airlines and Frontier Airlines. At Denver Airport you find direct flights to more than 200 destinations worldwide, making it one of the busiest and most connected airports in the United States.

At Denver International Airport there is one main passenger terminal, Jeppesen Terminal. The terminal is divided into two sides – West and East – and the gates are found on three different concourses (A, B and C).

• Concourse A: This concourse primarily serves international flights, as well as some domestic flights. Airlines operating here include American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

• Concourse B: Being the largest concourse at the airport, Concourse B is mainly used by United Airlines for both domestic and international flights.

• Concourse C: This concourse is home to Southwest Airlines and other domestic carriers, including Frontier Airlines.

Getting around the airport

As previously mentioned, Denver Airport is a large airport that is divided into several concourses. To get around the airport there is an underground train system that conveniently takes you from the main terminal to your designated concourse. The ride takes about ten minutes depending on which concourse you are headed for, and the train has very frequent departures 24 hours a day.

Denver Airport offers a large variety of dining options, making sure there is something for all flavors. At the airport you find everything from quick bites to sit-down meals with a mix of cuisines. There are restaurants in all three concourses, as well as in the Jeppesen Terminal.
