The airport, more commonly known as just Las Vegas Airport, is a hub for major airlines such as Southwest Airlines, Allegiant Air and Spirit Airlines. From here you can find direct flights to hundreds of airports – the majority of them being located in the US.
At Las Vegas Airport you find two main passenger terminals – Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Terminal 1: This terminal is mainly served by dometic carriers. Some of the airlines operating here include Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines and Allegiant Air.
Terminal 3: Terminal 3 is used for both international and domestic flights. Here you find both American operators such as Frontier Airlines, Alaska Airlines and United Airlines, as well as international carriers like British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
Harry Reid International Airport is one of the largest airports in the world, and a good thing to know is that the two main terminals are not connected. To get between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 you need to get on a shuttle bus that runs every 20 to 30 minutes. With this being said, it can be a good idea to make sure you check ahead to make sure you reach the right terminal from the start to avoid having to travel between the two.
When it comes to eating at Las Vegas Airport, it is safe to say that there is a lot to choose from. While the majority of the dining options are found at Terminal 1, there is also a variety of restaurants in Terminal 3. Overall the terminals host a range of restaurants, cafés and bars.
