Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is a public airport serving the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and is the primary airport for most of western Missouri and eastern Kansas.
It offers nonstop services to 47 destinations and is a hub for Eastern Airlines. The airport is located 15mi (24km) northwest of Downtown Kansas City, in Platte County, Missouri.
The airport consists of a single terminal. It has two concourses, A and B. Both concourses are located behind the security checkpoint. Concourse B is located behind Concourse A, through a connected walkway.
Concourse A: Gates A (A1-A20). Non-precleared international arrivals use Gates A12, A14, and A16.
Concourse B: Gates B (B40-B69).

The airport has many dining options for travelers and guests to choose from. These include cafes, fast food, casual dining, health-conscious and specialty diets, sweets and desserts, along with many sit-down restaurants and licensed establishments such as bars and pubs.
There are a wide variety of shopping outlets to explore at the airport. Shops include newsstands, gifts, apparel, electronics and technology, speciality retailers, travel essentials, bookstores, and collectibles, among others.
There is an airport lounge, Delta Sky Club, where travelers can relax and enjoy finer offerings. These include high-speed Wi-Fi, premium food and drink menus, a full buffet, curated art galleries and complimentary cocktail services. The lounge is located on the mezzanine level above Concourse B. The entrance is located on the north side of the City Market food hall in Concourse B.
Rideshare: Several ridesharing services operate at the airport. The pick-up locations for these are located outside of the arrivals level, near the purple signposts 2K-N.
Taxi: Taxi services are available to order by phone.
Bus: RideKC is a Metro service that operates routes to and from the airport daily.
Car rentals: Several car rental companies have their operations at the airport’s Rental Car Facility. There are frequent free shuttles between the airport terminal and the Rental Car Facility. To find the shuttle bus stop, follow the signs for Ground Transportation to the lower level of the Arrivals area.
Parking: Several parking options are available at the airport. These include express and valet parking services, garage parking, surface lots, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, and economy parking with free shuttle bus service.
