Every day hundreds of flights leave the airport, which is located about 13 kilometers west of downtown Miami. The airport is also a key hub for major operators like American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

North Terminal (Terminal N): This terminal is primarily used by American Airlines and handles both domestic and international flights. Gates in Terminal N are numbered from D1 to D60.
Central Terminal (Terminal C): Used by various airlines such as Avianca, Frontier Airlines and LATAM. Terminal C serves both domestic and international flights. Gates are numbered from E2 to E33 and F3 to F23.
South Terminal (Terminal S): Home to airlines such as Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and Turkish Airlines. Terminal S also handles a mix of domestic and international flights. Gates are numbered from G1 to G19 and H3 to H17.

Parking at Miami International Airport is convenient, with several options available for travelers. There are both short-term and long-term parking facilities located close to the terminals.
